Privacy Policy
What Information We Collect
When you contact Flood Solutions Inc. through our website, whether by filling out a contact form, requesting an estimate, or sending an email, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and a description of the damage or service you need. We also collect basic, anonymized analytics data (pages visited, general geographic region, device type) through standard website analytics tools. We do not collect payment card numbers through this site.
How We Use Your Information
The information you share is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule an on-site estimate, and coordinate the documentation your insurance carrier may require. If you authorize us to communicate directly with your adjuster or insurance company, we share only the information necessary to process your claim, photos, moisture readings, scope of work, and related documentation. We do not use your contact information for marketing purposes beyond following up on the service request you initiated.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. The only circumstances under which we share your data are:
- Insurance coordination, with your explicit authorization, to submit documentation to your carrier or their representatives.
- Legal compliance, if required by a valid court order, subpoena, or applicable law.
- Service providers, limited vendors (such as our website host or email platform) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
Data Retention
We retain contact and project records for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the service, comply with applicable tax and contractor record-keeping requirements under Michigan law, and resolve any disputes. Inquiry records for jobs that did not proceed are typically retained for a shorter period. If you would like your information removed from our records and there is no ongoing legal or regulatory reason to retain it, contact us and we will honor that request.
Your Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request deletion of that information, and opt out of any sale of that data (we do not sell data). Residents of other states with similar privacy statutes have equivalent rights under those laws. To exercise any of these rights, reach out to us directly using the contact information below.
GDPR is designed for businesses that actively target EU residents. As a Michigan-based residential and commercial restoration contractor, we do not direct services toward individuals in the European Union. If you are contacting us from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be processed and stored in the US.
